Colorful eyes!

Because of this time of the year I thought I should
post images of snow related subjects, however
with no snow in sight to photograph, I thought I would do the opposite and open your eyes with lots of color!  With the holidays upon us, I hope you all give a little extra to those in need. Even if it's just a hug and conversation, we all need to know we are loved.

Merry Christmas to you all!

Cedar Waxwings

I was lucky to come across a flock of Cedar Waxwings eating up a storm at the cemetery early last winter. Nothing seemed to bother them!  I noticed this year these same trees don't have any fruit left on them.  There's always next year?

Ice storm 2008

Remembering that terrible Ice storm!  It was amazing seeing how most of the trees sprung right back.

Dancing

There was one late evening this summer when there was alot of flying going on! Don't think I could ever get a sharp image of both of these at the same time but liked this effect.

Doves

The more I watch mourning doves, I understand just why they are a symbol of peace

Frosty morn

It was a frosty but crisp morning. Always try to get outside before everything disappears.

Watching

I was at awe how beautiful the light was hitting this Red-tailed hawk.  His eye contact made it a extra special moment!

Cool blue day!

It was a beautiful cool afternoon and the light was so blue!  I could have stayed and watched  the birds dancing across the sky for hours.
Later, in the evening, I drove through this very same farm and the farmer was cutting the corn field down. It was quiet the sight seeing the tractor with it's headlights on coming through the field! Would have loved to have photographed that.
