Welcome back Eastern Phoebe

Yes, it has been a very long time since I updated this blog (humm...I think I have said that before). No good excuses, just other life priorities I guess. Spring is the most exciting season for me for many reasons but one is the return of many migrating birds.
Here are some photos of the first Phoebe I saw and heard in my yard last week. Such fun to watch!

With all the snow gone now, there are lots of insects around to watch for.

I am always happy when a bird is so comfortable with my presence.
